Austin started with Sloughhosue Resource Conservation District in April 2019. After receiving a degree in Agricultural Sciences from Oregon State University they went to work in the non-profit world. As a program coordinator for both the Oregon and California Agriculture in the Classroom programs, Austin realized how disconnected a large portion of our population is from the natural world and where our food and fiber comes from. They are excited to be working with constituents to bring new opportunities to the district.

channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Sloughhouse Resource Conservation District
